Paolo Abate supports Humber River Hospital Foundation by riding in the Grandfondo Terracina

HAVEN Developments is more than just a developer, HAVEN is a lifestyle. And as CEO of HAVEN, Paolo Abate lives this lifestyle. He works hard in HAVEN and in life. He stays active and looks for ways to give back to the community.

On September 18, 2016 Paolo Abate will ride in the Granfondo Terracina with 75 teammates. This challenging race through the mountains of Italy will be the culmination of a year dedicated to improving health and wellness, and our community by fundraising for the new Humber River Hospital.

With the help of family and friends, Paolo Abate and Team Revolution have raised $1.2 million to help equip our new Hospital, which opened on October 18, 2015.   Located in northwest Toronto, the new Humber River Hospital uses the most advanced digital technology available to revolutionize the way patient care is delivered to nearly one million residents of Toronto and the GTA.

Paolo Abate said “I am committed to training hard and crossing the finish line in September – but I need your help. All proceeds from the event will benefit our community.  As a show of my commitment, I am personally paying for all my travel costs to Italy to ensure that 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting our new hospital. You will also receive a full tax receipt for your donation.”

This isn’t the first time Paolo has donated to the Humber River Hospital Foundation. In 2014 Paolo, alongside Nick and partners donated $100,000 to the hospital.  Paolo was recently appointed to the Campaign Cabinet of the Humber River Hospital Foundation and is a Board Member of the DUKE Heights Business Improvement Association for Ward 8 Toronto.
