Meet The Team
Jordan Teperman
As Executive VP and General Counsel at Haven, Jordan brings a wealth of development expertise to the team. Jordan is a strong believer in the importance of responsible, green city building and is committed to building homes that reflect the urban lifestyle. He is passionate about development connected to transit. Jordan has been an active volunteer on many city initiatives including acting as legal counsel for the Ivansker Mutual Society since 2008. He has been on the board of many organizations including Humber Region Hospital Foundation (8 years), Vice Chair Real Estate Cabinet United Jewish Appeal (11 years), and Member Sub Committee on The House Toronto (7 years). Jordan is hands-on involved in the day-to-day activities of development at Haven. He is a vital part of the team, and his signature personality keeps everyone at Haven smiling!
Paolo Abate
Paolo Abate is the CEO of Haven Developments. Paolo believes it is important to build a city we all love and is committed to doing this both in his professional and personal life. He co-founded Courage Canada, a national charity. He is a founding Board Member of the DUKE Heights Business Improvement Association and original Campaign Cabinet Member of Humber River Hospital Foundation, Member of the Schulich Real Property Association and a member of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
Today, Paolo Abate, alongside the HAVEN team, is developing many projects throughout Toronto and the GTA, concentrating mostly upon mixed-use mid-rise and high-rise projects.
Anthony Abate
Anthony Abate is a firm believer in the sanctity of the home. He advocates that your home is your haven, a safe place to make your own, to entertain friends and family and to create a life you love. As VP of Design and Development, Anthony Abate has a unique philosophy that has differentiated Haven in the marketplace. He is a believer in the vital role that Haven plays in enhancing life, not simply housing it. He stresses the value of connection in all Haven designs, believing strongly that Haven is not just a developer, Haven is a lifestyle.
Nick Tsimidis
Nick is a seasoned professional in the financial arena, having graduated from Rotman School of Business back in 1987. Past positions include 8+ years as President and Principal Broker at Real Wealth Mortgage Corp., 22 years as President of Real Wealth Tax and Finance and 6 years as an Audit Manager at KPMG. He brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance, taxation, due diligence, and financial services.
